PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUMMER WORKSHOP

MITA will offer a summer workshop in July to give an overview of what it takes to run a successful translation and interpretation business from the comfort of your home. What is the difference between free-lancing vs. working as an employee? What should my résumé say? How do I charge or provide estimates for a translation project? Learn all this and more during our July Summer Workshop with M. Eta Trabing of Berkana Language Center.

INSTRUCTOR:

Eta Trabing has been a technical translator since 1956, first in Argentina, then in the U.S. She is an approved provider for continuing education credits for both the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and the American Translators Association. Publications are available through www.eberkana.com.


ATA Continuing Education Credit:

ATA-certified members will earn 5 hours of Continuing Education Points for this workshop.
