Spotlight on Literary Translation in Dallas

MITA invites you to a special day to learn about the latest developments in literary translation right here in Dallas, Texas. 

We will hear from:
  • Jorge Correa, translator of Decidí Vivir (Spanish translation of Julie Hersh's Struck by Living: From Depression to Hope)
  • Will Evans, Publisher/Executive Director of Deep Vellum, a Dallas publishing house dedicated to translated literature
Approved for 2 ATA CE hours.

Cost to attend this event (photo session not included): 
  • FREE for MITA members
  • $15 for nonmembers

Bonus: MITA has arranged for professional portraits by Lindsey Miller Photography at the same location from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Portraits available to members only (fee applies).
