Saturday, January 13 found MITA members gathered for lunch and networking as we kicked off 2018. Held at the Feragne Villa in Hurst, the afternoon included a “white elephant” gift exchange and door prizes. “It was a lot of fun,” commented Manuel Murillo, “and gave members a chance to reconnect. It was exciting to have a number of court interpreters join the group!”
Buddy Strittmatter described the event as “life injecting” and expressed his appreciation for those who keep the organization going.
Many thanks to Biljana Karamehmedovic, Karen Sharp, Josue Carmona, Yovana Gonzalez, Manuel, Jacqui Dominguez, and others for all their hard work on this event and upcoming ones!
And for your browsing pleasure, we’d like to share a few snapshots from the event.
